With 101 stops, representing 147 rows and 8000 pipes, the richness of sound of this instrument is exceptional and gives it a worldwide reputation.

It has the rare feature of being equipped with a second, mobile console, which allows the organist to play in the nave, close to the listeners.

Organ auditions in Sint Eustatius
resume as of Sunday, June 7, 2020

Dear listeners,

Having been deprived for almost three consecutive months of our weekly meetings around the great organs of the church of Saint Eustache, we are very happy to welcome you there again, in order to share these musical moments with you.

Due to current health regulations, organ auditions with free participation at 5 p.m. will only be able to accommodate a limited number of listeners.

The abrupt cessation of all our activities, a direct consequence of the health crisis, has led to a great loss of resources, both for the parish and for the artists. This is why your donations will be more essential than ever. Thank you!

The whole team of Sint Eustatius is looking forward to seeing you soon.

Organ auditions

If you ever wonder what's behind those big, imposing pipes then this video is for you. You will be able to visit the bowels of one of the largest organs in France which is located in the church of Saint-Eustache in Paris.

You will discover the details of the sumptuous sideboard designed by the architect Victor Baltard in 1854. The instrumental part was rebuilt in 1989 by the Van den Heuvel factory.
